When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political and cultural bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s Creator entitle them, a decent opportunity to take responsibility for one’s own fate, and with it that of their own honor, requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men and women reserve the right to honor the memory of each, every, and any of their ancestors as they see fit, without guilt, shame, or fear. That they are endowed with the intrinsic right to forgive any and all historical grievances, from any angle of their history, in order to move forward with their lives—choosing to look at the past only as history to learn from without resentment, hatred, or other negative emotions, rather than as justification for violence and aggression against our fellow man and countrymen.

To take responsibility for the construction or reconstruction of their own verbal and written languages, names, titles, namesakes, traditions, clothing, heirlooms, the legal purchase of their own lands, and every conceivable facet of cultural individuality as would be compatible with the constitution of the United States of America.

To take responsibility for their own reputation, in both foreign eyes and domestic.

To choose a pursuit of happiness based on the might of their will and natural ability, rather than a debt of anguish and guilt claimed to be owed by our fellow man, with the willingness to perish with their honor preserved in full. To live life to its fullest, with love for every branch of their bloodline, as complete human beings with their esteem intact.

And most importantly, to face suffering as a natural part of life.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that cultures long established should not be changed or separated for light and transient causes; and accordingly, all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

But when continual failures with public displays of incompetence, as well as behavior culturally accepted as normal, lead to progressing embarrassment for the individual trapped by the international reputation of such people who share a different philosophy, cultural independence is needed.

When cultural leaders and their common people prior have sustained logic derived from oppressive laws pertaining to identity, even though those laws have been dispelled for generations, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders have repeatedly failed to effectively unify their people, as well as failed to demonstrate the strength of character necessary to lead them, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders have failed to take responsibility for cleaning the living areas where the highest concentrations of their populations reside, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders have failed to educate their people on the dysgenic attributes of false idols, among them being politicians, business leaders, sports figures, and entertainers such as actors, comedians, and musicians, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders have failed to take responsibility for preserving wisdom as a form of inheritable cultural wealth, and passing that wealth down to their people for the betterment of their decision-making, leading to a false widespread belief in oppression, independence is needed.

When respect for the previous culture’s freedom to disagree with moving in a different cultural direction must be maintained, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders judge others by their skin color while asking to be judged by the content of their character in order to gain political advantage over those they believe are oppressors, aware and willfully negligent of such hypocrisy, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders claim and convince others that fellow human beings cannot empathize with their struggle simply because of difference in skin color, while we as a people have no problem empathizing with the pain of animals of different species, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders fail to establish a philosophical foundation for their culture needed to set a standard for quality leadership, especially as it would pertain to leadership decision-making, traditions, language, food, and all other aspects of culture, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders continually conflate culture with physicality, which may overlap at some scientific points, but are not synonymous, independence is needed.

When the previous culture’s leaders set the example for their people to blame others for what is actually their own personal faults, depriving their people of the truth of how to advance as a people, independence is needed.

All of these points are met to establish cultural separation and independence as the Vannoken tribe.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
